Some comparison notes between Sea Tec and Dynamic Pro tow lines
In 35', Dynamic Pro and Sea Tec use the H2prO line.
The 50' version of the Dynamic Pro uses a lighter, more dynamic polypropylene and is not available on the Sea Tec.
Both are approximately the same size around the body and waist, but the Dynamic deploys almost flat, offering little friction and drag in the water (drogue), whereas the Sea Tec "crops" and risks "drogue" the victim in a situation where the towing paddler abandons them.
When paddling, it is best to reload/repack the Dynamic while seated and on a windscreen as a table.
The Sea Tec has a pocket/bag in which the rope can be stored while on the water and is therefore suitable not only for sea kayaking, but also for stand up paddle boarding.
