What makes Sweet Cheeks so special? The Sweet Cheeks shape fits around your rear end to make a perfect seat.
How does it work? I loved the beanbag concept for its fit and firm hold. When you first get into your kayak with the Sweet Cheeks, you'll get in after inflating it for about 4 breaths. When you sit on it, air rushes out of the tube, while the beads race to find a place to go until the air is almost all out. To "lock it in" for as long as you like your setup, simply suck out the remaining air. It's a perfectly locked seat cushion that won't slide around on your seat.
The bottom of the cushion is made of Velcro and it stays firmly in place on your kayak's Velcro. Special configurations: Want to be higher in your boat - no problem. We added more beads than needed and made it oversized so the beads have a place to go. Just blow air, move the beads under your butt and suck most of the air out before getting in the kayak. Get in, wiggle it a little to make it comfortable, suck the rest of the air out and you'll be 1" higher.
Want to be lower? Blow a lot of air into it, climb up, and wiggle while the air is being expelled. When the air is out, lift your butt off the seat while still in the kayak, blow out two or three lungfuls of air, and sit back down, wriggling so the beads really form around you and move under your butt.
Do this as many times as you like until you reach your desired height (it's usually not necessary to do this more than three times unless you want to be completely at the bottom.
The Sweet Cheeks 200 has twice as many beads as the Sweet Cheeks 100 to ensure you're as high in your seat as possible.
